Move Over Niko: Grand Theft Auto Goes to Chinatown

2008_07_ctwars.jpgAt this week's E3 conference for computer and video games, it was announced that Nintendo DS would be getting a version of Grand Theft Auto. Specifically, it's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. No other details--aside from it being available this winter--were divulged, much to gamers' disappointment (some are hoping this will pave the way for a GTA title for the Wii). Now, there are many Chinatowns across the country, but we wonder the Triads, turf wars over discount buses, or counterfeit goods will be part of the game play.

storyline: white protagonist kills all the chinese gangsters, becomes king of chinatown and gets plenty of yellow tail.

I predict shit. The DS is weak. It will probably be in the top down perspective.

oh man i hope not.

Awesome, will Notorious M.S.G. have a cameo?

I would buy it just because it's about Chinatown. =)

Top-down perspective like the original GTA? SWEET!

I'd love it if GTA ever came out for the Wii.

Don't listen to hoodlum. NO way this will be top-down.

If it's not in the top down perspective it will look like ass anyway. Just look at tony hawk american skateland for DS.

Drive bys on Chinatown buses?

Given the crowds and the weird little side streets down there, If it were top down it would be like Gauntlet! FNAWESOME
