In case you didn't know, tonight is the Major League Baseball All-Star Game...AND it's the last one being played at Yankee Stadium (well, this Yankee Stadium--we're sure there will be an All-Star game at the new one soon enough). Today, the MLB held an All-Star Game Red Carpet Parade, to create even more buzz, photo ops, and a chance for fans to see legends and legends-in-the-making alike.
The parade will be broadcast on Fox at, starting at 7 p.m. And for those of you who are heading up to Yankee Stadium tonight, security will be tight, with extra NYPD officers patrolling the 4 and D train.

I should have gone to this. To see Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra and Hank Aaron in the flesh... man. Amazing
it was funny seeing the crowd rip papelbon a new one.
What will Mickey Mantle get for Christmas???
Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra.
Ernie Banks was holding Fukudome's baby daughter on his lap-- so sweet!
I hope this is the last time some idiot decides to throw a parade during rush hour/working hours along Avenue of the Americas, one of the busiest in NYC. The streets outside my office were a freakin' zoo for hours.
