Then no less an authority than PC World, ever the advocate for Macs over PCs, must have been lying when they wrote only three days ago that assumptions about the high cost of Macs are usually wrong. In fact, I must have been imagining the conclusion that said, "Don't buy into the old argument that Mac laptops are categorically more expensive than Windows machines. Sometimes that's true--but they're often on par with, or cost less than, their closest Windows laptop equivalents."
