DHL All-Star FanFest at Javits Center Through Tuesday

As part of Major League Baseball's All-Star Game celebrations, the DHL All-Star FanFest opened today at the Jacob Javits Center. Running through Tuesday, FanFest offers activities that any baseball fans of all ages can enjoy.

There are booths where attendees can test their pitching skills against video images of Major League Sluggers, attempt to hit "home runs," take fielding practice, and other active events. Fans can also have their photo taken for USA Today's Sports Weekly or their own Topps baseball card. On the upper level, baseball legends are signing autographs (Reggie Jackson was there this morning) as well as a collector's showcase.

Along with the fan activities, there are exhibits from the Hall of Fame, on women in baseball, and the Negro Leagues. Fans can also by ballpark foods and official All-Star game merchandise in the clubhouse store.

The DHL All-Star FanFest is open through Tuesday at the Javits Center. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling Ticketmaster at 212-307-1212. Admission is $30 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under (those under two are no charge), seniors and military personnel. The attractions are free with admission
