I tried out the new iPhone at an AT&T store last month and it actually seems very cool, even to someone like me who owns nothing from Apple and who's perfectly happy with a three year old cell phone. But being associated with idiots like this turns me off from wanting to buy one.

For those who aren't into everything Apple, check out the HTC Dream which is slated for release (supposedly) on Oct 1 from T-Mobile. It's the first production-level phone using Google's Android, which is open-source. Looking forward to that...

My wife called me about 10 minutes ago from the Smithhaven Mall in Suffolk County. She was waiting on a line outside the Apple Store trying to get a new iPhone, and said that there were about 125 people ahead of her and many others behind.
