the cheese sandwich with doritos and cilantro sauce is called the Masala sandwich at a deli on 26th street between 7th and 6th. its great. don't diss it till you try it.

for the 9000th time, cheese can be about as vegetarian as veal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rennet still, this sounds like a funny sandwich for those of us with strong stomachs.

I can't FIND a Blimpie any more. The ones I used to go to, 7th Ave & 30th and 5th and 35th, both gone for Wamus or some other bank. Time for a Blimpie offensive to counter the all pervasive Subway. Blimpie sandwiches are much softer and the counterpeople seem much more generous with the fixins than at Subway, where I frequently have to ask for more.
