They wouldn't show him live anyway. Climbing the Times building is old hat now. Just another yawner.

They will still cover him, but not LIVE like what happened last month with the other jumper. Most of the 6pm news they were showing him climbing the building LIVE.

[12] Do you really think the evening news won't cover him just because he climbed at night? I can pretty much guarantee all of the local newscasts will still cover him. [13] I suggested that right after Alain Robert climbed it. You snooze, you lose. Although the Times should make it even better. Add some tubes running the full height of the building and you could have the world's longest firepoles. Now that would attract people left and right. A good, strenuous climb followed by an exhilarating slide to the ground.

I'm telling you, if the Times just put up some harnesses people would pay to climb. This could be the solution to the newspaper profit slump.

At least climb the building during the afternoon when there is more publicity to be made or getting yourself on the 5pm and 6pm news.

He wasn't protesting anything, and there is no "terrorism is bad" message involved at all. Read the wrong story I guess. "He climbed the Times' building and called the News?!" Most likely he called all the papers.

He dropped out of the University of Michigan in 1995 (at the presumed age of of 16) six years before the 9/11 attacks, so he could study Al Qaeda full- time? That's one precocious dude! Maybe we should listen to whatever he's blathering on about. The Times building facade is the new Internet. Everyone's on it with some opinion.
