Let me know when I can afford a ticket to Citi Field let alone afford to eat anything there. I have not had a COLA increase in three years while the Execs have been congratulating each other with bonuses.

You know, what ever happened to just serving greasy food and decently cold beer. They're trying to change what is quintessentially a buddy sport made for real people into something trendy and overly expensive. This will backfire if the Yankees don't start winning World Series quick. And the mets better be battling them for it.

With Aramark behind the food, I guarantee the quality of the food will go down. I mean, have you seen some of the product they use? Not to mention the employees they hire that don't give a shit about quality or service.

I wonder how much this food will cost -- will a burger be $15 or something ridiculous like that? (I can't even imagine what "classic, artisanal comfort foods" would cost.) And will it take 45 minutes to get a Shake Shack burger? To #2...sad, but true. Fans don't go to baseball games anymore -- only corporations can afford the tickets. Go to a Braves game some time -- the team might as well be playing checkers for all the attention the attendees (I can't call them fans) pay.

With both Yankees and Mets changing stadiums in the same year, people will be shocked by how quickly the "New York crowd" will vanish from the city. Its amazing how silent a stadium can get when half of the seats are luxury boxes and wine bars.

yankee tickets are off-the-wall expensive because they're not getting a sponsor, it will be called yankee stadium and the $50 seats are now over $500.
