The grandmother and parents of that 5 year old need to get their heads out of their @sses and get that kid help.
"a mistake by her grandson who's a little "on the rough side." Huh? How about taking some 32 grit sandpaper on an angle grinder an touch his little adorable pee pee with it? That will smooth him out a bit.
It's no wonder that 5 year old set fire to his grandmother's apartment...after he had called 911 to report her dead. Forgiving the little SOB so easily for setting a friggin fire shows that they let this kid run wild like an animal. They deserve one another. No bleeding hearts, please. This kid would have ended up trying to kill her (or his parents) within the next 10 years.
The five year old kid will be a career criminal the way he is being brought up.
I do wish you would change the wording of that last link: it makes it pretty obvious you didn't actually read the article, but only the sensationalist title. Once you have actually read the article or watched the video, it becomes clear that Obama's daughter was being facetious, as both she and her mother roll their eyes and then laugh at the comment.
But of course I shouldn't expect anything more from a news outlet than to take one sentence that a ten year old says in jest and turn it into the title of an article.
Good luck finding a very understanding landlord with a lease Grandma! I'm sure the nice staff in the local burn unit will happily write you many recommendation letters.
REALLY poor arguments in that anti-NYU bus editorial.
