THEATER: The Summer Play Festival is blazing away at the Public Theater, and though you won’t read any criticism of these eight productions because of a review embargo, at just ten bucks a ticket it’s one of the safest bets in town. Tonight there are two shows: Sarah Hammond’s drama Green Girl is described as “a provocative, mystical drama where sisterhood is tested and time stands still.” Then there’s Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom: “Welcome to everyday suburbia where teens become completely obsessed with an unusual video game. As they advance to each new level, the lines between reality and virtual reality blur.” – John Del Signore
7 p.m. // The Public Theater [425 Lafayette Street] // Tickets cost $10.
