I 'd think that IKEA wouldn't want those people in the store in the first place. If a free bus ride keeps IKEA from going the way of Target (ie ghetto) then that's a small price to pay!

I love this quote from a Daily News article. Makes me wish there were more private buses and vans running on non-exclusive city bus routes. That would plug the gap between demand and service.

I mean, I think part of this deal was the benefit of building the Ikea. They had to make bargains with everyone to get it done, so they have stuff like this that would give back to the community. Which offering free transit to a relatively hard to reach area does. If they wanted it differently they'd have you get a voucher at the store or something.

My I suggest an IKEA credit card as a pass :) kindof like free parking at Bloomingdale's near large malls.
