Huama now is very well in Bifengxia Panda Base. Raising in one of the panda Enclosures in Baixiongping area, Bifengxia, Ya'an, Sichuan, China. Huamei was moved to Bifengxia after China Wenchuan Earthquake took in 2008. And many americans held her when she was a tiny baby at the San Diego Zoo. Everyone knows Pandas are some of the cutest animals around. And that their newborns are uglier than baby rats.

Like babies are any cuter when they are born... all shriveled and pink. But I do agree, it looks more like the panda is eating seafood than carrying its young.
