Jeter's not having an all-star season. But, you do need two shortstops. Michael Young is the best shortstop in the AL. Jeter is the 2nd, sadly. It's just a bad year for AL SS's. You can't just say "Jeter shouldn't be in...". Someone has to replace him and the AL doesn't have anyone better.

Tough to argue with Rivera, he's been having a dynamite season. The closest Jeter should be to the ASG this year is in a luxury box, though.
