Kid Graduates First Grade, Mom Steals Teacher's Purse

2008_07_handcuff.jpgPolice say a woman stole a purse belonging to her son's first grade teacher while at the school for his graduation! The Staten Island Advance reports that 43-year-old Traci Holmes "slipped into her son's empty classroom at PS 52 in Dongan Hills sometime during the May 29 ceremony and swiped his teacher's Louis Vuitton handbag." Holmes allegedly made over $300 in purchases with the teacher's credit card and tried to make more, but the card was declined. Holmes faces charges including forgery, grand larceny, and petit larceny.

TSOL: you need those "graduation" pictures to show when your kid is on the news when they're arrested... They're so nice, they wouldn't hurt a fly...

If you read the article this is not even the first time she was arrested for stealing.

Lets hope her four children break the cycle of stealing.

Staten Island again? Is SI trying to take NJ's coveted "Most POS in a concentrated area" crown?

At this point, I just assume all LV bags are purchased on Canal Street.

"What the hell is a teacher doing with a LV bag[?]"

Could have been a gift, maybe? Hardly the point in any case.

Also- try to get your kid into a school that has more self-respect than to graduate FIRST GRADERS!!!

  • Tgirl

the odds were against this poor kid from the start. You need a license to own a dog, but apparently any misfit can have a child.

Also--never keep your purse/wallet/belongings in the open, whether you work at a school or an office. Put them in a drawer, preferably one that is locked.

This story explains why there are so many twisted, warped morals & values coming from young people today. If your own parents can't be good examples of morals & values, then who will teach them???
