  • Girls Gone Wild sent out a press release promising a video of Spitzer hooker Ashley Alexandra Dupre in "very interesting sexual situations."

  • Police recovered two tractor trailers, originally stolen from the Port of Wilmington in Delaware, on a Bronx road. Their banana cargo held great appeal for a team of slippery criminals who made off with $40,000 worth of fruit.
  • A blogger called Eduwonkette has become a regular irritant to the Dept. of Education and the Bloomberg administration.
  • A Long Island demolition derby was all fun and games until a participant's gas tank exploded and the driver crawled from his flaming car while on fire.
