- A Jersey City DJ rescued a naked 2-year-old from wandering the streets alone. The DJ, Harvey King, said some people were just standing around, not doing anything; the baby is now in custody of family services.
- Harlem gentrifiers want noisy drum circle at Marcus Garvey to go: Last October, an e-mail message was sent to residents from the address of one of the co-op's residents. "Why don't we just get nooses for everyone of those lowlifes and hang them from a tree? They're used to that kind of treatment anyway!"
- Lost City shows a Brooklyn Ikea ad parked in front of the future site of Trader's Joe: "Could any other picture express as succinctly what is happening in the County of Kings these days?"
- A NYPD detective went undercover at a city mosque to get to know Muslims with extremist views; the Daily News reports the cop revealed "after prayers at a neighborhood mosque, there were often private classes that included discussions about bombing different areas."
