<description>&lt;p&gt;Fringe is annoyingly amateur. So right on with that. But SPF is waaaaaaaayyyyy overrated. I love the HOT fest at Dixon place. But the best summer theater I saw last year was the Summer Shorts Festival at 59E59. Plays all over the map in terms of content and writers and their styles, plus you only had to go to two nights to see the whole festival as all the plays were short form. Nice theater too, if not in the strangest part of town to see or do anything.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
