No, Hedge Fund baddies are not exempt. But to your point about "trying this hard to get those hedge fund bailers extradited back to the US": the finite resources of our prosecutorial bodies should first go to cases of gervious physical injury. I believe prosecutorial bodies should give a lower priority to redressing the pecuniary losses of individuals who can easily bear those losses. The criminal actions of Slobodan Nenodovic intensify the need for the United States to see justice done in this case.

Jacque, "Hedge Fund bailers" stole from Hedge Fund investors, who are , with limited exception, "accredited investors." An accredited investor, who is a natural person, is Any natural person whose individual net worth, or joint net worth with that person's spouse, at the time of investment exceeds $1,000,000; or Any natural person who had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the two most recent years or joint income with that person's spouse in excess of $300,000 in each of those years and has a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year(Rule 501(a)(5)-(6), Reg D, 1933 Securities Act). Not exactly old women and war widows. Basically, Hedge Fund investors are big boys and I cry few tears when they are swindled. However, this nuance of the securities market is neither connected to the price of Pabst Blue Ribbon nor contained within the text of the labeling of Pabst Blue Ribbon, so I doubt you caught it. This Serbian animal needs to be tagged and imprisoned.

I guess that makes it even. At this point, I'm pretty sure U.S. justice doesn't trust him, either. Taunted? Maybe. Tortured? He doesn't know the meaning of the word. Abner Louima was tortured. Abu Ghraib had torture. A cop pushing you along with your hands securely cuffed for their safety is not torture. So the poor, little 6' 9" 260 pound boy couldn't handle a few drunks in his holding cell? He wasn't so shy at the bar. Forget jail. Can we send him down to the rebels in Colombia as a consolation? "Here, we're sorry we took your 15 hostages. You can have this one instead."
