That's awesome, but at 49$, that's a ripoff. I'd pay 30 max. A 7$ beer is already expensive, you should be able to save a little for buying in bulk.

#12 - excellent point, they should cross-post this to Consumerist. Doing the math, if this "Beer Goddess" is $49 and holds 6.3 pints, that's $7.78 per pint. And, well, damn that's an expensive beer. $6.95 for a beer is highway robbery, but a surcharge for buying in bulk is just stupid.

I know this is a gimmick and all, but this is awful. According to the menu online, a pint of beer at Heartland is $6.95. So you are paying MORE per pint, for beer that will inevitably be warm by the time you finish.

I know Heartland's goal here is to create some novelty excitement, but it just doesn't do it for me. Really, just stick a handle and a spout on that thing, and you've got...a pitcher of beer. And I can get a pitcher of beer anywhere. (Except with a pitcher, it won't spill everywhere when you try to pour some for your mates. I'm guessing 50% of every glass of this stuff ends up on the floor.)
