also I machine on Pelham Parkway did not work and when i called the help line it was closed for the day. They have this system in London. I think Bloomberg is too obsessed with Europe. I think he is a wannabe European

It seems that this "improvement" is just a lot of hype to hide the following reality: several additional stops are now being bypassed. SBS is said to have replaced the Limited Stop program. However, not all former Limited Stop locations are now SBS stops. The end result is that the MTA if offering up less service to passengers -- and for them, that is a reason to celebrate an improvement in service. Sigh.

This is all well & good, but what are they going to do about the ghetto trash who on a daily basis skip paying their fare by gettting on the back door of the bus. I ride the #12 fairly frequently & see at least 20 people do this every time. People are at zero risk of getting a $100 ticket. The drivers on this route are barely awake at the wheel & if they are, they're reading a newspaper while driving, or hitting on the ghetto fabulous female passengers.

That sure is an ugly design. Seeing the MTA logo that big makes me want to run.
