Skydivers and "parachutists" never fail to amuse me. Imagine a leisure activity where you quite literally leap from a high place to your death. My scrapbook of skydives gone awry is bulging at the seams, yet it awaits that Jeb Corliss cover.

Why is Gothamist still giving Corliss any attention? He's nothing but a self-serving egomaniac. Everyone from fire chiefs to other BASE jumpers say parachutes are a terrible idea for escaping burning buildings. You don't get to jump from a plane without lots of training, yet Corliss thinks panicked and untrained office workers can just strap one one and jump?

This bill is no doubt a stunt so that Peter Vallone Jr. can get media coverage, something good if he say wants to do something like run for mayor.
