THEATER: How’s this for a rave? "I cannot remember so wholeheartedly wanting a piece of theatre not to stop." So says Kate Copstick of Edinburgh's The Scotsman in reference to LaSanta, a multidisciplinary show that’s now at the impeccably curated Ontological-Hysteric Incubator series. The work of “image based” theater company Sintroca, La Santa “explores the aura, sensuality and sanctity of women through the idea of altered states… using the earliest conventions of theatre to achieve the techniques of cinema. Curtains, lighting, puppets, tableaux-vivant, scrims, hand cranked mechanisms and double cast actors create deep focus, shutters and jump cuts, while stylized choreography and movement feel like camera pans and zooms.” – John Del Signore
Friday // 8 p.m. // Ontological-Hysteric Theater at St. Mark’s Church [131 East 10th street] // $17
ART: Artist Taeyoon Choi thinks that taking pictures has become a “tedious act from yesterday”. Clearly not afraid of machines taking over the world, he questions why cameras can't just snap a photo themselves. His latest project goes on display tomorrow; "he’s created a robotic duck that’s programmed to detect the flash from nearby cameras and respond by taking pictures of it’s own. The photos can then be printed out on the spot, or uploaded via wifi." Called the Magical Image Digesting Duck, it's a part of Dewar’s underwritten “Tourists and Travelers” exhibit going on at Eyebeam Studios. Choi and the duck will lead an expedition from Eyebeam to Central Park this Saturday!
Saturday // 2:30 p.m. // Eyebeam Studios [540 W 21st St] // Free

Plus, you can learn more about the prospect of a solar-powered New York. Tomorrow catch The Acorn, Ecstatic Sunshine, Dan Deacon and plenty more (note: The Dirty Projectors won't be on the bill, as previously planned). Bring your own cup for beer discounts!
Saturday // 3 p.m. // Solar One [24-20 FDR Drive] // Free
MARCH: The NYC Dyke March is this Saturday and the ladies will be on hand to "demonstrate, agitate, liberate!" If getting to Roosevelt Island proves to be too much of a hassle, the McCarren Pool Parties start this Sunday! Head over there for The Hold Steady, who follow The Loved Ones and J. Every attendee also receives a free gift from the New Museum.
Sunday // 1 p.m. // LES Visitor's Center [261 Broome St] // Free
THEATER: A Brush with Georgia O'Keeffe may be a corny name for a play about the famous painter, but director Robert Kalfin (who helmed the award-winning Chelsea Theater Center) deserves the benefit of the doubt. Actress-playwright Natalie Mosco stars as the titular artist in a show that marvels at how a Wisconsin farm girl became arguably the first American female star of the art world. – John Del Signore
Sunday // 2 p.m. // St. Luke's Theatre [308 West 46th Street] // Ticket prices vary
