It's appalling that a micro-managerial item such as congestion pricing is a deal breaker for Bloomberg.

funny thing is, the democrats were right on this issue. congestion pricing was a terrible idea. there are easier ways to raise taxes than to create traffic jams around the perimeter of Manhattan.

It was reported at the time that one of the reasons the Democrats wouldn't support Bloomberg on congestion pricing was because he had contributed a lot of money to the Senate Republicans. So congestion pricing is just an excuse for him to support his ideological soul mates.
