The Not-So-Great Bathtub Robbery

First iron gates, now bathtubs--scrap iron must be very valuable. Two men were caught stealing a designer bathtub from a Merrick, Long Island home under renovation. The tub, a Kohler cast-iron style weighing 300 pounds, was being taken out the front door by the robbers when police spotted them.

    Have you ever priced one of those Kohler designer tubs? They cost thousands. Some approach five figures. I wouldn't laugh at such an attempted theft.
