It's pretty. But I would like to see a regulation saying that any new building can be no taller than the structure it is replacing. I don't mind the yuppies, cause I just moved here three years ago. For me to tell new-comers to fuck off would be ridiculous.

Please. I like a landmark, but the Domino Sugar sign a landmark? What makes a landmark? Just because some people like it and feel nostalgic about something? How in the world is the Domino sign a huge contribution to the neighborhood? That's just silly.

The Tate Modern is a great public museum amd civic amenity. This is just another high-rise Rolls Royce for the hedgefunders with a "Domino Sugar" hood ornament. Fucking brilliant.

Oh god, are those silhouettes on either side huge ass condos? Each one of those units better rent for as much as a place in an old Greenpoint building.
