I think it's brilliant., very well done. much better than your average "let's black-out someone's teeth" variety of guerillafitti.

these aren't good. the hitch one is alright. the old Kaws bus stop billboard ones were much better.

I thought the "Splasher" is the artist du jour? WEHT to him? Has he gone corporate?

Clever, but not as cool as what the BLF (Billboard Liberation Front)used to do, or even Keith Harring in the 80's. He used to take over entire panels with his own chalk work.

I have to say there is some part of me that secretly enjoys the crass crap people scrawl on these ads... maybe it's just the 4-year-old in me. Or maybe it's because most of the ads are so dumb.

I find these works speak to me in photosurrealistic dialect imbued with an organic purity that is almost palpable; a burroughsian-dadaic essence which I have not encountered since doodling in the notebook margins as a middle school child.

Dada, is that you? Dada?

Stickers are fun.

Whoever is doing this. Or if its a group of unrelated others. Its great. I love it.
Such a huge gap between the images and the true quality of what they advertise. Also, just because its an old idea (Dada, Surrealists, Burroughs) doesn't mean that its not a language that can speak clearly now.

this reworking of worthless commercial imagery is more needed than ever with corporations constantly bombarding us with their visual garbage.

While other "street artists" have breeched this territory (BAST?) I think this guy (or guys) is/are very good. Talented. Maybe even.... genius. Possibly. Good stuff though.

I think it is a clever form of expression, but I totally agree that this isn't just one guy. I've seen plenty of people do this and if one guy takes all the credit, well he's a jerk.

Alright, alright. I think we're getting way too loose in who we're calling artists these days. Rope it in, guys, we need to maintain some what of a higher standard here.

By the way, i see all kinds of idiots peeling away at these posters and sticking them on other posters , to attribute this to one individual is bogus gum flapping.
