Lightning struck the upper tier toward the end of Modest Mouse's set and immediately after that management stopped the show and evacuated the stands. In the initial announcement they stated that they were expecting the storm to blow over and were going to try to restart the show in an hour. That's pretty much exactly what happened. After the storm had moved out over the water they restarted the show with the benefit being that the audience could see the lightning off in the distance as the storm moved out.
