Next: Gay & Lesbian Divorce Court on some cable channel sandwiched between re-runs of Ax-Men and The Deadliest Catch. Considering what heteros did to marriage (gay icon Liz Taylor 8 shots at it & Britney's lark 24hrs Vegas nuptials as examples) why would they care to join in that circus? BUT that would be great for the economy. A major boost to the retail clothing and footwear industries. Flower shops would flourish, 500 count Egyptian cotton sheets would become items of illicit trade & sturgeons will be exterminated for their caviar.

The real question is why hasn't Bruno and anyone else in Albany who's opposed to passing gay marriage in this state been kidnapped by the NY hospitality industry and made into savory croquettes for loosing those 12,000+ marriages worth of business. Even if its a dozen people clinking PBR's together at the local bar that's still a hell of lot of guests who would otherwise be booking hotel rooms, dining out, and buying last minute gifts in this city and state.

I couldn't agree more Snoopy. At its' essence, as far as it concerns other people, marriage is a legal contract, nothing more nothing less. I'm a little bit sick of people who are waiting for 'Jesus to take them up to Heaven' having such a strong hold on other peoples lives.
