The fact that the AP is going after bloggers shows how they do not understand changing medium of information. If the Blogger shows the source of the content its win win. The blogger gets to use the information and the the AP still gets the credit plus reaches even more people which is what all news orgs want.

I've seen several incidents of straight up plagiarism on for-profit sitse like these. Linking and story synopsis is one thing, reposting the article that costs money to make is another.
Its interesting, Gothamist is a bit guilty of something similar, but its with posting all the main NYPOST headlines each day; don't get me wrong I love it but often most of the story they print is covered here.
