That is so funny. The management of the Dunkin' Donuts with the 80 calorie donuts is smart. What the hell does it matter? The calorie count is so arbitrary. Just have one and get over it.

What they should really be posting is the ingredients list, which includes delicious items like: Modified Food Starch, Polyglycerol Esters Of Fats & Fatty Acids, Artificial Flavor, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Egg Albumen, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Propylene Glycol, Mono- & Diglycerides, Soy Flour, Monocalcium Phosphate, Sodium Caseinate, L-Cysteine Hydrochloride, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Agar, Citric Acid, and Cellulose Gum.

Yum! I don't care if the thing has 5 calories. I don't want that stuff in my body.

My motto is: if you have to ask how many calories it has, you probably shouldn't be eating it.

The only information you need about a doughnut is that you gotta have coffee with it.

What do I need to do to get some food with trans-fats? Go to the UN or a duty free shop?

The calorie labels are similar to those messages on cigarette packs and ads stating, in effect, "our product causes cancer. Don't use it."

The purpose, more or less, is to drive personal behavior away from smoking or donut-eating and, as worthy as that may be, I resent the governmentally-dictated warnings.

Only 340 calories? I've downed up to a dozen of those at a time. Not often, mind you. Eating that much sugar every day would be begging for a diabetic coma.

Dunkin' Donuts is numerically challenged. I once was in a Chelsea shop and noticed that a half-dozen donuts cost more than six individual donuts. The people behind the counter had no clue, but said I could buy six individual donuts if I wanted.

You would have to be pretty dumb to think a full sized chocolate glazed donut is only 80 calories. Then again, this city is populated by dummies, which is why we need this law in the first place.

I'm a fan of the law too, but what kind of idiot thinks that donuts are not extremely fattening?

The 80 calories is for the Chocolate Glazed Munchkin, not the donut.

The law is awesome. Whoever put the wrong sign up is an idiot.

calories from fat is a more telling number for these foods (170 calories from fat for the pictured donut according to dunkindonuts.com). why isnt that info listed? cant we get information that gives an accurate portrayal of what we're eating??

oh ya, b/c this law is still crap!
