thats a great video! good job cameraman/woman.
i was at that 'game' and my friend and i were like: "lets wait until 8 to see if they'll play". at 7:40, the rain let up and they got ready to drain the tarp and fans filtered down from cover into their seats. at 7:50, a new thundercloud rolled in and the skies opened up and everyone had to scatter, totally drenched. it became clear that the game was a wash, as shallow center and the warning track became lake-like. the rangers came out to play at 8:10, and it was awesome fun, then we bailed. i was impressed with how much noise the crowd made as everyone was jammed under the top of the upper deck and the mezzanine. props to the mets for letting us redeem the tickets to any upcoming game(non-sellouts), not just the make-up game the next night, and the bonus was it was free shea-stadium replica night. while badly hand-pained, it was a pretty impressive/large/hefty give-away. i was looking forward to seeing 25,000 of them rain down on the field after a bad call or an omar or wilpon appearance, could have done some serious damag

I don't know for sure who the last team to do it was, but I remember in the late 90s/early 00s when Robin Ventura did it. He put some eyeblack on to approximate Mike Piazza's facial hair and then ran the bases like he was ol Pizzaface himself. It was pretty hilarious.
