All that said, the condom is your friend. Much better for your health than the Pill, and much more reliable. Men ought to use them anyway, instead of relying on women to mess with their hormones. If men knew what the pill entails for women (health, expense, and risk wise), they'd never take one themselves. They have the good sense to delegate all the health risk to women. Women! The condom is your friend!

It's true, condoms will only marginally protect you from herpes. Look at athletes -- they get herpes just from skin contact thigh to thigh, or abdomen to abdomen. On the other hand, herpes is apparently not as bad as people think, otherwise most people who have it and don't know it wouldn't be so blissfully unaware.... And apparently a LOT of people have it and don't know it. And by the way, cold sores are herpes, in case you didn't know! And these days, they often come from genital herpes, due to oral sex. You can catch it mouth to genital, and mouth to mouth! So are people going to stop kissing? Are men going to stop wanting to receive oral sex? Will they wear condoms for oral sex when they don't want to wear them for other sex in the first place? Ha haha ha ha ha! Trojan is just using the stigma around the illness as a sort of backwards way of promoting condom use.

I have never understood why they called them "Trojans". The Trojans were invaded and butchered by the Romans who hid inside a wooden horse. It's like they called their condoms "Victim" or "Invaded". Works for some, I guess.
