I was on the uptown 4/5/6 platform at grand central around 11:20ish and they said the 4 was going local though nobody was on the train, since the 6 was in the station. Of course the 4 leaves first and the 6 just sits there and keep sitting there for about 20 minutes.

I was on the uptown 6 between 8:40 and 8:55 this morning and there were no delays - the Union Square station didn't seem to be that crazy, but maybe I was on the wrong end. Ugh, that poor man/woman :-\

I was on the Uptown 456 platform between 9:55am and 10:15am or so and it was still madness after an hour or so after the hit. Does anyone know if it occurred on the Uptown or Downtown tracks? At around 10:00am a few undercover cops ran through the crowd and many more cops as well as dogs were visible. The hubbub actually seemed more crime related than medical.

That D and N disruption was someone pulling the emergency brake between 9th Avenue and 36th Street in Brooklyn. Trains were stalled for about 40 minutes (about 8:10-8:50). I'm not sure why it messed up the N train, however.
