Lawrence Taylor is spelled with a W, not a U.
Boorstein needs to turn in his NY Sports license.

That's nothing. In my hometown newspaper, they once ran a story about the Great One, and spelled his name Gretsky throughout even though there was a picture of him, his back towards the camera, wearing a New York Rangers jersey with the correct spelling accompanying the article.

Good for him. I would have been quite surprised if he had come back for another year which very well could have resulted with his career ending with an injury. He gave everything he had to the Giants for 15 years and he deserves all the accolades and the big diamond ring. And in five years he'll also have an induction ceremony in Canton. And sometime before that he might also have a retirement ceremony for his #92, but that's up to the Giants.

This moves Justin Tuck into the lineup full-time at LDE, which is not much of a performance dropoff from Strahan. What they will miss is his leadership, of course, and the ability to rush Strahan and Tuck together on obvious passing downs.

Good guy and great player. I'm hoping his retirement sticks and he doesn't try a (lackluster) comeback like some of his contemporaries.

I had figured he would have gone in for at least one more just to refill the coffers after his divorce. At any rate, I feel good for him. I still remember the play where he recovered a fumble in the SB vs. Baltimore and ran it all the way back for a TD only the play had been blown dead and everyone knew it but him. Going out like this is so much better.

Sad to see him go. I hope he shoves that ring in Tiki's face in the broadcast studio. And then Tiki gets fired because Tiki is a complete bore. The single season sack record should have an asterisk.
