I would not call the squares at L & B a "grandma" slice. Grandma is usually much thinner with an emphasis on cheese, garlic, and olive oil. L & B's squares (often called "Sicilian" though I hear that's not particularly accurate either) are nice and pillowy. Ultimately, who really worries about the price of a slice? It would have to go over $3 per for me to even notice.
