You know, technically Brooklyn is just the western tip of Long Island. It's not like the dog would have to swim or use an EZ Pass to get there. Technically, yes, but nobody in Brooklyn or Queens says they live in Long Island. And I'd like to see you do 60 miles on foot in a day. Although that's highly suspect, too. The dognapping ideas above look quite possible.
