Any arrest is public knowledge. However, to use taxpayers' money to publicly humiliate them before any conviction puts Nassau County in a bad position of using more tax money to defend themselves and pay out when they lose. And they will lose at some point. How can anyone get a fair trial with their faces already on a billboard? Breathalyzer evidence is NOT always bulletproof. You don't know what equipment is used, if the person was correctly trained, if that person was using the equipment was using it correctly at the time, ect. And can a dunk minor even consent to a test in the first place? AFTER A CONVICTION, Nassau County can give out T-Shirts with these idiots' faces.

@ANGRYGOD11: She was arrested for it. Any arrest is public knowledge. The public has knowledge of it. Also, anything you say can and will be used against you. Perhaps this woman might have been better off keeping her mouth shut.

LMAO @ ANGRY White boy- Youre just pissed you and your alcoholic friends are going to be plastered on the front of every newpaper when you get arrested for Drunk Driving. Before the cops arrest you, they use a breathalyzer to make sure you are drunk. Breathalyzer evidence is just as Bulletproof as DNA evidence. These people ARE guilty of drunk driving- the Breathalyzer never lies.

It's easy to bash her, but EVERYONE is innocent, until proven guilty, even on Long Island. When a person they embarrass and cannot convict sues them for millions , then the Nassau County's DWI Wall of Shame is over.

Teens tend to be stupid by default, but if this girl is embarrassed, it's because she continues to keep her mug in the paper with the stupidest excuse I've ever heard. What kind of girl keeps an empty beer can in her purse? A drunk girl. Great place to hide it kid. A cop who pulls you over would never ask you to retrieve your license from your purse, where you're stashing your empties. Derrr. Good one matty.
