I am greatly disappointed and angered by the coward loser that attacked this woman. I have zero compassion, I wish on him 3 times the pain that he has inflicted. For the rest of us, lets not add to the hate and cowardice with racism. I am a New Yorker, I have been robbed, mugged, and otherwise done wrong, and I am still able to hold that individual criminal responsible, and separate him from large groups that I might think he belonged to. If you are focusing on the attacker's race, you are missing the point. If you blame the victim, you are missing the point. Ask yourself what you could do to help yourself or the people that you know and love avoid this kind of spineless violence. That is what is important.

where is the sketch or a CCTV shot of the pig? That building must have had some kind of security monitoring. to #21 and 22, I would add, if you are attractive to these pigs (young and helpless and innocent-looking) and you have a job that requires you coming home at night (after 12am), always have some kind of protection on you, like a tear gas, a "tazer" type shocker, or a box cutter. Be alert walking the streets and entering your building. And take a short self defence class.

This is a horrible crime, 100%, but can Gothamist get off this constant NYC Law & Order kick? I can read racially slanted stories like this in the NYPost. At least the fear-mongering line is in bold. "This is getting scary. I feel like predators are all around here." Perfect for FOX News!
