- A 32-year-old counselor at the Crossroads Juvenile Center has been charged with selling marijuana to a 15-year-old resident at the facility.
- The Super Bowl Champions New York Giants will finally receive their rings at a private ceremony this evening at Tiffany & Co. The design for the rings was previously described as "10 Table," because they could be spotted from ten tables away from where the wearer was seated in a restaurant.
- A Richmond Hill High School English teacher is being charged with statutory rape for having sex with one of her 15-year-old students. 22-year-old Jamattie Singh also allegedly had sex with two other members of the boy's family.
- Councilman James Sanders--an early supporter of Barack Obama--is hopeful that he can take a place in the Senator's possible Presidential administration.
- Counterfeit iPods and cheap knockoffs of designer bags are one thing, phony condoms are a whole different story. Eight were arrested in Queens for distributing thousands of phony brand name condoms imported from China.
