0805babelandbox.jpgPark Slope parents were legitimately (and surprisingly) thrilled when they discovered Babeland would be building a new home in their community. Now the sex shop will be opening its doors at 462 Bergen Street on June 3rd, and they're certainly fitting in well with the Park Slope stroller set.

The shop is offering up 'nabe-friendly events like "Eco Alternatives: Wood, Glass and Steel Sex Toys" and a "Sexy Mom" series. And with the smaller Seventh Ave Tea Lounge closing, Babeland comes to town just in time announcing their upcoming monthly brunch event starting on July 13th, where they'll serve "coffee and muffins and sex toys, oh my! Indulge both your appetite and your sexual curiosity." It is the age of oversharing, after all.

Take note: a post-opening grand opening celebration takes place on the 15th, when you can expect "local treats, gift bags, store tours and previews of our most popular workshops. We’ll raffle fabulous Babeland goodie bags every hour and a grand prize you’ll have to see to believe. The first 50 customers will receive a free Babeland Silver Bull."

Oh Good! Something new for Jon Crow to complain about.
