When will our new issue of the New Yorker come? Because the infamous GOP operative Roger Stone tells writer Jeffrey Toobin how he learned of former Governor Spitzer's love of "ladies of the night"--and by the looks of Page Six's first look, it's a must-read!
Stone (who may or may not have left a rude voicemail on Spitzer's dad's phone calling Eliot a "phony, psycho piece of s---") has previously claimed credit for helping tip off the feds about Spitzer. Now he explains in much more detail how he figured out a "hot blonde" hooker had met with Spitzer. Excerpts of NYer article, via Page Six:
"She told me she had a very high-end clientele - she kept using the word 'high-end' - athletes, international businessmen, politicians . . . then she said, 'I almost had a date with Eliot Spitzer, the governor of New Jersey.' She didn't know much about politics. So I asked her, 'Did this guy have a beard?' [like whiskered Jon Corzine]."And how did Stone find out Spitzer likes to wear socks during sex? Again, from the hooker: "She told me he was nice enough, but the only odd thing was that he kept his socks on. They were the kind that went to the middle of the calf and one of them kept falling down." Another fun detail: Stone met the hooker at a "Miami swingers club Miami Velvet" (Stone was fired from Bob Dole's 1996 presidential campaign "after Stone and his wife placed a personal ad in a swingers magazine looking for a threesome").She said, no, he was a skinny, bald guy, Stone tells Toobin. She added that Spitzer had reached her through her escort service that listed her as a brunette. But since she'd recently gone blonde, the agency referred Spitzer to a dark-haired colleague who hooked up with him in Miami.
Stone was also involved with "shutting down the 2000 presidential election recount effort in Miami-Dade County"--he says he spied from Democrats' recount team (related: the HBO movie Recount premieres tonight). And even Page Six calls Stone a "Republican dirty tricks specialist"!

Stone appears to have trouble getting over the bit about Elliot Spitzer's socks. Perhaps he went out and bought a pair of those extra long, over the calf geezer socks to try out with his hooker. It must have felt strangely chic for this guy to emulate a once proud, highminded public official while getting a dildo rammed repeatedly up his ass by the tranny. "Miami Velvet". Says it all.

Spitzer is a Democrat and proved to be one of the biggest hypocrites in recent memory.
Politicians are probably disgusting hypocrits and morally corrupt at the same frequency as the rest of us, it just seems like they are worse since when they are exposed it's headline news. Or maybe they are all slimy bastards, I can't figure out which.
