same way you get off a crowded bus now and or the subway or a double decker mta LIRR train... its not hard plus sometimes there are even exits for the top and the bottom they've done fine with me in london for years certainly wouldnt be difficult

That bus in the picture is not one of the ones they ran in the 70's -- it's an older, retired model brought out for special occasions.

Pardon me for not being worldly - but how are you supposed to get out at your stop if you are on the top deck and its jam packed with people? Since the MTA obviously will never build a new subway line as long as they are in charge, you can't tell me those buses won't be packed like a rush hour 6 train...
