<description>&lt;p&gt;the start of the summer is a BAD time to open an indoor skating rink. nobody is going to pay to skate indoors when you can skate outdoors for free with a live dj.

it wasn&apos;t just the violence that shut the nyc rinks down, it was also the price of admission, their locations &amp; most importantly: the lack of roller &amp; inline skaters. 

that&apos;s why the roxy had to appeal to women&apos;s birthday parties &amp; even that wasn&apos;t enough to sustain a weekly party.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
