NKOTB Ring the Bell, Rock the Plaza

Last month the New Kids on the Block (or if you prefer, NKOTB) reunited on the Today Show to announce they were...reuniting. This morning they returned to play some tunes at a rainy Rockefeller Plaza (at press time a nostalgia-packed medley is going down), and fans lined the streets to get in. Guest of a Guest reports from the frontlines, saying, "we almost tripped over NKOTB votaries camping on 48th Street as we were en route to a lunch date at Saks."

The group also rang the closing bell at New York Stock Exchange. And the stock market ended the day up, very possibly because they have The Right Stuff.

How does Donnie find the time to get the old band back together when he's so busy figuring out how to whack his more successful little brother?

Look at their spiffy new logo!

I just walked by a shitload of Jersey housewives wearing t-shirts with "Still Hangin' Tough" on the front.

Lord. My roommate had the Today Show on this morning; what a mess.

Their name is not longer very appropriate...

False.

NKOTB have never rocked anything.

aren't they from Boston?

Those "New Kids" look pretty old to me.

i used to think that joey mcintyre was the dorkiest of the new kids and now he's the best looking one.

New Kids on the Bleccch, that's what I say.

"Gay for pay". Yeah, ring that bell.

at least these guys were pioneers of the modern boy-band trend--you gotta give love for that.

Go check out Donnie’s good friend Nasri. His songs were the reason they got back together. he wrote most of ther new songs, including "click click click, summertime and many more.

Check him @ myspace.com/nasriworld.
