Representative Vito Fossella met with his Staten Island constituents yesterday in a D.C. meeting. The Advance reports that members of the Staten Island Board of Realtors met with the embattled Congressman, who canceled a meeting with Staten Island Chamber of Commerce representatives on Wednesday.
SIBOR president Susan Carpenter told the Advance, "We talked about Island health care and that crisis, and we talked about light rail and everything the Realtors support in moving our Island into the future...He appeared to be in good spirits and we had some community laughs with him." Community laughs? Like chuckles over how his wife is probably devastated by news that her husband (and father of three children) has a girlfriend and 3-year-old daughter in Virginia?
The Daily News reports that some lawmakers' wives noticed Fossella and former House military liaison Laura Fay "ogling" each other during a trip. The wives complained to Republican leaders--a source said, "They don't like home wreckers."

Nothing funnier than being a total hypocrite. How's the work on family values coming, Vito?
I wonder why this isn't on the front burner, whereas we had "Spitzer Watch" breaking news daily.
This guy not only hid his affair but had a child and that child is three years old.
so much for the so called liberal media bias.
Appease this.
"Take your daughter to work Day" just got a whole lot creepier.
Vito is not on the front burner because he's not interesting -- he's just another right-wing Republican robot. Get rid of him and another very much like him will spring up in his place. Although possibly not so enthusiastic about family values as to have two of them (that we know about).
It's time for a change. Fossella should go.
Jen, you're obsessed.
