<description>&lt;p&gt;spiritross - raccoons are sometimes active during the day and a raccoon seen in daylight does not automatically mean rabies... it&apos;s misinformation like this that led the cops to over-tranquilize it and kill it for no good reason.  if it was foaming of the mouth or stumbling around that would be one thing, but it looks like it was just scared and up a tree.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
