My husband (much older than me and disabled) often tells me that there is nothing more intoxicating than a large woman in a dirndl. I have three or 4 of them. He calls me "Helga," even though my name is Elizabeth. I call him "Karel" because that means "Chuck" in Czech. Though he thinks I am calling him "Carol" since he's wearing his own dirndl. A harmless game among married people like us, but disrespectful in a restaurant, even a beer hall like this one.
