"climbing between balconies" That's what they always say. If there was a tally of every cruise ship passenger who died "climbing between balconies" Mike Wallace would be out there haranging balcony engineers.

This has to be the best way to get rid or your spouse -- get her on a cruise ship and toss her off the balcony. And you don't have to say shit to anyone. Fuck the wonderful NYPD detectives. Even if they know you did it they still have to prove it.

Here, this is me "passing" an interview with the professionals of the NYPD Detective Bureau:

Detective: What happened to your wife?
Me: [.....silence......]

I happen to think the woman fell. The parents - like most parents - can never accept that they raised a doofus daughter who would do stupid thinks like swinging from the rails as if she was on the trees of Africa.

I've seen plenty of stupid adult tricks. Just walk along the East River long enough, and you'll see them yourself.

She thought she was invincible, then fell to her death.

As I said - Darwin Award!

This is sad in many respects. The fact that she remained in an abusive relationship could only have one eventual outcome.

Darwin Award!

What, are you trying for one? You're already well on your way.

The guy's guilty as sin. If my girlfriend fell overboard, I wouldn't continue my trip to Bermuda. I can just imagine him now. "Eh. She's gone. What am I supposed to do, ruin my trip? It's not refundable!"

geeze, what a lame story this guy came up with...but proving that is something else, unless cameras or phone logs or whatever the cops can find out can somehow undermine the "wheres" and "whens" of his story.

The FBI is investigating. The boat was in international waters but because it originated at a US port, iirc, there is jurisdiction.

Are you frakking kidding me? Yeah, they'll investigate, all right, but this Caputo character will be halfway to Patagonia by then.

I don't think the NYPD will get involved, because the boat was in the ocean...? right?

That's why so many crimes happen on cruise ships, because they are in "international waters" typically and the investigations are slim to nil.

Nice- Real Nice...

Let see of the 'boyfriend' can pass a good interview the detectives of the NYPD.

I don't think anyone will be fooling the professionals of the NYPD Detective Bureau...

And in the second place- what is this woman doing on a cruise ship to Bermuda with an 'abusive' boyfriend?!
