South Pacific was the best evening I've had in the theater in many years. Even the overture got a standing ovation. Tickets, however, are tough: I wanted to buy a pair for mom for mother's day and the soonest (before the Tony nominations were announced) were July 4th weekend.

Not so tough to see Passing Strange, however. Half price tickets still available on broadwaybox and other discount sites. House was nearly half empty on a recent Friday evening when I saw the show.
