Extra, Extra

- Today on the Gothamist Newsmap: a partial collapse on 53rd St. and 9th Ave. in Manhattan, a missing child on Flatbush and Atlantic Aves. in Brooklyn, and a gas main break on Leland Ave. in the Bronx.
- A freelance cameraman for WPIX Channel 11 was struck by a car on Chambers and Centre Sts. while heading to a press conference at One Police Plaza.
- Recent NYC transplant Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, was spotted backstage at the Garden during last week's My Chemical Romance show.
- WTC delays and bungling mean that investment bank Goldman Sachs will receive 64 years in free rent and tax abatements worth a combined $321 million. When the solid gold bank agreed to build its new HQ downtown, the contract included draconian penalties against taxpayers if the City couldn't stay on schedule.
- Former NJ governor James McGreevey will be first to testify in his divorce proceedings, as the AP reports that "talks with his estranged wife broke down, dashing hopes that New Jersey's former first couple could avoid the spectacle of a messy public trial." - In a form of reverse police gun buy-back program, a former Queens cop admitted that he stole guns from the department's evidence room and sold them on the street for cash.

The money should come out of Bloomberg's pocket, not mine. I had nothing to do with that scam. If anything, that bald fuck from Goldman Sachs' CEO should sue Rogain for false advertising. And then they wonder why nobody likes Jews.
Dude sitting down in the photo is totally making a Spitzer pouty face!
^That's because he's just admitted to an involvement with a $55.55 a night hooker.
321 million? That's tax abatements + free rent for 64 years? I must have misread something. Goldman Sachs picks more spare change out of the sofas in their reception areas.
Goldman Sachs. The WTC site. The city's "concerns" on the part of our mayor. What a sham.
All that fake indignance. They are just lining one anothers pockets. Thieves.
Bloomberg and his business tactics once again lost.
Fuck Goldman Sachs. Hopefully someone will fly a plane into their new building when all the executives are there.
